Brown butter blondies

Sometimes I hold my pen to paper and I can’t bring the words forth. Sometimes, I sit here and type a passage, delete the entire entry, then do it over and over again. Sometimes, I give up trying to find the words I need and pull out the ingredients I need from the pantry. A few times, like today, I start assembling items before I even know what I want to bake. So I improvise, as we so often have to do in life.

These turned out pretty well. I knew I wanted blondies, I knew I wanted some texture, and I knew I wanted cinnamon. I also wanted sea salt, but I forgot to sprinkle some over the top of the meringue before popping it into the oven. Oh well, improvement points for the next time.
